News about our MOMS Club is shared via our monthly newsletter that highlights upcoming events and member news. Members also benefit from our members-only Facebook page which serves as a great resource to ask questions and get answers about a variety of topics.
We try to host two to three activities a month for parents and their children. Some past activities have included story time at the library, visits to our local playgrounds and parks, a beach day, fun at the splash park, ice cream socials, pumpkin picking and hayrides. We also have our monthly mom-focused night out! We’ve gotten together for movies, aerial yoga, paint night, learning to sew and meeting up for dinner or drinks at local restaurants.
Every year we participate in a service project that benefits children and families in need in our community. In the past we have purchased presents for families during the holidays and made gift baskets for the Food Pantry. We have also used the money we collect from membership dues to donate to the Mother-To-Mother Fund and have donated to Norwell's annual Holiday on the Common and supported Norwell Summer Fest, two important events that are free to residents and bring the community together.
We also have a Meal Train which provides meals to new moms and their families to help support them during those first few weeks postpartum or meals for any families going through a difficult time.
